FAQ #1 For Bluetooth USB
Dongle
Q: Can't
finish the bluetooth driver installation.
The driver program may take
several minutes to analyze your system while the installation is
processing, please pay more patience waiting for the entire
procedure. Please check whether the Bluetooth driver CD is
damaged.
Q: Can't find
any remote device in the Bluetooth Neighborhood window or can't
discover any service on a remote device.
Make sure the remote device is
powered on. Make sure the remote device is within range.
Q:Found the Network Access service on the remote device but
still can't contact with it.
If the remote
device you connected to uses Windows 98SE/ME operating system, you
must ensure that it has already installed an Internet routing
software such as WinRoute Lite. You can get a downloadable version
of WinRoute Lite from the website at http://www.kerio.com/ If the remote device you
connected to uses Windows 2000 operating system, you must ensure
that it has already enabled the "Internet Connection Sharing"
function. In the desktop of Windows 2000 of the remote device
which provides the Network Access service, select Start >
Settings > Control Panel > Network and Dial-up
Connections. Right-click on Local Area Connection icon; select
"Properties" in the pop-up menu. Select Sharing tab in the Local
Area Connection Properties window. Enable the "Internet
Connection Sharing" function in the Sharing tab. When the warning
window appears, press Yes button to confirm the change.
Q: Can't find
the service on local device.
Make sure
that the USB Dongle is already plugged into USB port
Q: Does USB
Dongle support Windows XP?
Yes, USB
Dongle supports Windows XP. Besides, the Bluetooth software
functions the same, regardless of the supported version of Windows
it is running on.
Q: How to use
the Fax service.
Make sure the
remote Bluetooth device that you will use the Fax service has
physically connected to a fax machine or a modem with fax
function. Install a Fax software such as WinFax into your
system. Replace the default fax modem with Bluetooth Fax modem in
the properties of the Fax software.
Q: Can't
discover Dial-up Networking service on remote
device.
Make sure
whether a modem is physically attached on the remote device that you
are going to connect to. Make sure the modem driver has been
installed in the remote device.
Q: The
Dial-up Networking service is already established but couldn't
reach the Internet.
Make sure the
TCP/IP setting is correct. The TCP/IP value is provided by your
ISP.
Q: The USB
Dongle found the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone but couldn't dial-up
through it.
Make sure that your
telecommunication provider offers either WAP or GPRS
service. Make sure the configuration of WAP or GPRS on mobile
phone is correct. Make sure the mobile phone can dial up via WAP
or GPRS function before using the USB Dongle's Dial-up Networking
service.
Q: May it be
possible to connect to two or more remote Bluetooth-enabled devices
at the same time?
The Bluetooth wireless network
permits eight Bluetooth-enabled devices in existence depends on the
degree of interference around the Bluetooth environment. In
practice, whether the local device connects to the other remote
device or not, you can still see at least 7 remote devices at the
same time. Therefore, the local device can't contact with others
when it is communicating with the particular device at the same
time.
Q: I have
done everything but the USB Dongle still doesn't work, what should I
do?
If you meet this problem,
please try to remove the present Bluetooth software driver and
re-install the driver again.
Q: How do I
create my own business card in local device? And how do I send it or
receive others' business cards from remote Bluetooth
devices?
The USB Dongle
supports Microsoft Outlook items such as *.vcf, *.vcd, *.vcs, *.vnt
and *.vmg format. You can create your own business card in
Microsoft Outlook. To send, receive, or exchange the items,
right-click on the Inbox icon of the Bluetooth Neighborhood window
of the remote device, and then select one option you want to
execute from the pop-up menu.
FAQ #2 For MP3 Player
and MP4 Player
- The player can¡¯t
power on.
•
Battery has no power.
• Firmware upgrading unsuccessfully, please re-upgrade
again.
• Check whether the HOLD switch on the player is ON,
switch it to OFF position and try again.
• The firmware is operated un-properly . For example, the
default firmware version is 5.000, if you degrade it to version
4.001, which will lead to the situation that you can¡¯t power
the player on and ¡°LOCKED¡±appears on the screen. To solve
this problem, please refresh the firmware back to the default
version.
- Auto off
•
Check whether the battery is discharged.
• If you have set your player Auto off or Sleep, please
cancel.
• Auto off may result from error firmware, we suggest to
refresh the firmware.
• If the situation of Auto off happens frequently to your
player, please consult with the distributor or send it back to
us for maintenance.
- The player is totally dead or has no function.
•
If the player is dead when plays one file, please delete or edit
this file.
• Auto off may result from error firmware, we suggest to
refresh the firmware.
• hardware problem, send it for maintenance.
- Some music files can¡¯t be played
• This problem
occurs if the bit rates(kbps) is not supported. Please refer to
the bit rate supported of each format following:
MP3
kbps:8-384kbps, WMA kbps:5-192kbps
• The copyrights of the music files are reserved.
• Please format the MP3 player.
• Try to refurbish the firmware.
- Lyric can¡¯t be showed
•
The name of the LRC file doesn¡¯t contain @,£¤,%,* and etc
signals. Please delete them directly.
• The capacity of LRC file must be within 6K.
• Meizu MP3 just supports Lyric file in LRC format which
follow behind the file when downloading.
• Make sure both the names of Lyric and song are the same.
For example, song title: My love.MP3; Lyric name: My love.LRC
- Only the black light is on when power on , the player can¡¯t not connect to the computer

Please check whether the USB cable or USB jack is ok and install
the USB Driver Program if your Window Operation System is
Windos98 or lower when the player can¡¯t connect to the
computer.
- Difference between Auto off and Sleep
• Auto off: The player will be automatically turned off with no operation during preset time.
• Sleep: The player will power off automatically after preset time while playing.
- When an application such
as Microsoft Word opens a file on the USB Flash
Disk, what
will happen if USB Flash
Disk is
pulled out?
The
computer screen will go blank. Hit the "Esc" key to return to the
normal state.
- Will the USB Flash
Disk be
automatically installed when inserted to a PC USB port for the
first time?
Not at
this time. The necessary USB driver must be installed from the
supplied floppy, or by downloading it from the our web sites.
However, Kangyuan hopes to implement this capability in its future
products.

Wait for
