Warranty
Introduction
This
warranty is subject to the conditions and limitations set forth
herein.
Freedata Technology Co., Ltd. ("Freedata")
warrants and tests the Products to be free from defects in
material and workmanship and to conform to published
specifications. During the warranty period, should the Product
fail under normal use in the recommended environment due to
improper workmanship or materials, Freedata will repair the
Product or replace it with a comparable one.
This warranty is for a specific period from the date of purchase.
Freedata will inspect the Product and make the decision regarding
repair or replacement. Freedata reserves the right to provide a
functionally equivalent refurbished replacement Product.
This warranty does not apply to Product failure due to accident,
abuse, mishandling, improper installation, alteration, acts of
nature, improper usage, or problems with electrical power. In
additional, Freedata is not responsible for any data recovery in
the event of a defective flash memory or hard drive. The Product
must be used with devices that conform to the recommended industry
standards. Freedata will not be liable for damages resulting from
a third party device that causes the Products to fail. Freedata
shall in no event be liable for any consequential, indirect, or
incidental damages, lost profits, lost business investments lost
goodwill, or interference with business relationships as a result
of lost data. Freedata is also not responsible for damage or
failure of any third party equipment, even if Freedata has been
advised of the possibility. This limitation does not apply to the
extent that it is illegal or unenforceable under applicable law.
The limited warranty is exclusive, with no other warranties,
implied or statutory, including, but not limited to any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
This warranty is not affected in any part by Freedata providing
technical support or advice.
2. Terms of Product Return
- Above and below is the standard we set ourselves
for customer service at Freedata. We consistently position
ourselves to be significantly above the industry norm. It's all
part of our commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
The following RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) guidelines
are extremely important. They were designed to ensure we meet
your expectations. Please read them carefully before returning
any goods.

3. Warranty Claim Requirements

(A)
Returned Parts-only the defectives unit without any accessories
In order to save the postage of returning products, only the defectives
unit should be returned back without any accessories.
(B) Shipping method for returning goods
The customers should return the defectives unit only by post to
avoid the Customs Clearance problem when return back to us.
(C) Package requirement
When customer sending a defective product
to Freedata, it is required that customers provide prepaid
freight and insurance. Shipped products must be properly
packaged to prevent damage during transit.
(D) Repaired and returned period
After receiving of the returned defectives unit, Freedata will
finish repairng within one month and will send back the repaired
unit to the customer together with the goods under the next
order of the customer or send the repaired units to any other Chinese
supplier of the customer.

The warranty term for the end users
The warranty term is indirectly suitable for the end users, the
end users should only send back to the retailer or our local
agent from which the end user buy in case of any defects in
material and workmanship; we will not directly service to end
user.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Freedata
shall in no event be liable to buyers or any third party for any
consequential, indirect or incidental damages, including but not
limited to loss of profits, loss of business investment, loss of
goodwill, and/or interference with business relationships.
Transcend shall not be liable in the event that its products
cause any damage or failure of other equipment.
